There were some stunning Emmy wins last night and some predictable, but you can watch all the shows and performers online! So lets get started!
Some of my favorite performers and shows won last night, including Tony Shaloub, for Best Supporting Actor in a comedy for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, available on Amazon Prime, of course, and, while you’re there, you can appreciate Alex Borstein, who won in the Best Supporting Actress for her role on the same great show. Oh, and you can also catch Jane Lynch’s Emmy winning Guest Star performance on Mrs Maisel, too. While you’re on Amazon, you can catch Ben Whishaw’s Best Supporting Actor performance in A Very English Scandal, the limited series based on the Jeremy Thorpe scandal of the 70′s, starring Hugh Grant. And, finally, you can watch Fleabag, the hilarious comedy series created by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, which won four Emmys , including Best Comedy Series, Best Writing for a Comedy Series and Best Actress for Waller-Bridge, too.
You can catch some Emmy winners on Hulu, too, like one of my favorite thriller series Killing Eve and Jody Comer‘s amazing Emmy winning performance, she won Best Actress Drama, as the psychopathic assassin, Villanelle. Oh, and Hulu also has Patricia Arquette‘s masterful performance of a mother with Munchausen Syndrome in The Act that won her Best Supporting Actress Emmy Monday night. You can also catch Bradley Whitford‘s Emmy winning performance, in Best Guest Actor Drama, in The Handmaid’s Tale, always an excellent show. And, finally, you can stream Michelle Williams‘ stunning performance as Gwen Verdon, in the excellent Fosse/Verdon, for which she won the Best Actress in a Limited Series Emmy.
You can see some wonderful Emmy winning shows and performances on Netflix, too, like Jharrel Jerome‘s Emmy winning work for Best Actor in a limited series, in When They See Us, Ava DuVernay‘s amazing and infuriating story of the wrongly accused Central Park Five. You can also enjoy Julia Garner’s performance in Ozark, for which she won the Best Supporting Actress award. You’ll also see some outstanding performances by Laura Linney and Jason Bateman, while you’re at it. And, finally, on Netflix, you can watch Billy Porter‘s incredible portrayal of Pray Tell, in Pose, the story of the LGBTQ crowd in New York in the 80′s, for which he won Best Actor in a Limited Series Monday night.
And, finally, if you want to stream Game of Thrones, the winner of 12 Emmys Monday, you can get a free week’s trial on HBO here, but I wouldn’t recommend binging on all 73 episodes in that one week, it might be too much for anyone. Oh, and you can view free the first episode of GOT(if you haven’t yet seen it) on HBO here.
So binge on Emmy winning drama and comedy all week long, on Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix. Enjoy!
