Apple TV+ the newest streaming platform, has some good shows on it like its excellent movie Hala, about a Pakistani/American girl, growing up in suburban Illinois. It also offers Truth Be Told, the story of true crime podcaster Poppy Parnell, starring Olivia Spencer (!) and Aaron Paul, which looks to be good. But honestly, the shows you want to stream on AppleTV+, can easily be streamed within your seven day free trial. You can even stream The Morning Show, with Jennifer Anniston, Steve Carell and Reese Witherspoon, and See, the epic fantasy series starring Jason Momoa and Sylvia Hoeks. During those seven days, you can also stream Hailee Steinfeld’s portrayal of Emily Dickinson in Dickinson and M. Night Shyamalan’s series Servant, about a family dealing with the death of a child. But most of the shows and movies offered on AppleTV+ are not included in your membership, and are offered at a high price of $19.99 for a new movie, or a membership in a different streaming service like Starz or HBO Now. And, though the price of AppleTV+ per month is low only $4.99, it just doesn’t offer enough to justify even that small price. So sign up for your free seven–day trial here. And cancel in a week.
